The town, well-known for the Vino Nobile wine, is also called “the pearl of renaissance” due to the many important buildings that there are both inside and outside the town’s wall. During the Middle Ages the building was used as a hospital and was transformed and renovated by the actual owner. It is located on the first floor of an antique two-storey building. If the day is particularly clear you could even see the Majella mountains. The renovation was completed in 2003 with the restoration of the room and of the façade. It was made carefully with high end materials and with original pieces when possible. The façade is made of stone. The roof is insulated. The beams are partially made with the original woods and partially with high quality new woods. The walls were first sandblasted and then plastered to ensure its resistance. All the windows have double gazing. The floors, exception made for the stairs and the terrace that are made of cotto, are made with American red larch woods. All the connections are working and perfectly safe. The heating system is autonomous and there is also a pellet heater. The position of this property and its quality contribute to make this apartment an excellent example of a high-end townhouse, suitable either as a main house and as a vacation home.
